Accessing the Owner Portal
The Owner Portal requires your Owner Token — a separate credential from your regular login. This is intentional: even someone with your email and password cannot access owner-level settings without the token.
Finding Your Owner Token
- Log into the app at tuninglabs.net
- Go to Account Settings (top-right avatar → Settings)
- Scroll to Owner Credentials — your token is shown here (masked). Click to reveal once.
- Copy and store it securely (a password manager is recommended)
Owner Dashboard
The Owner Dashboard is the first thing you see after authenticating. It shows a real-time overview of your platform's health:
The Owner Dashboard — real-time KPIs, recent user activity, bot status, and platform health at a glance.
Dashboard KPI cards — active subscriptions, MRR, active users this week, and platform health score.
| Dashboard KPI | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Active Subscriptions | Total paying subscribers broken down by tier |
| Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) | Total subscription revenue for the current month |
| Active Users (7-day) | Users who logged in at least once in the last 7 days |
| New Signups | Accounts created in the last 30 days |
| System Health | API uptime, database status, function error rate |
| Bot Status | Hardware bot, brand bot, social bot — last run time + status |
User Management
Under Owner → Users, you can view and manage every user on your platform.
User List
The user list shows all accounts with:
- Email, name, plan tier
- Account created date, last login date
- Subscription status (active, past due, canceled)
- Number of vehicle profiles
- Auto-Tune credits remaining
User Actions
| Action | What It Does |
|---|---|
| View Profile | See full account details and subscription history |
| Send Email | Send a direct message to the user's email from within the portal |
| Reset Password | Send a password reset email on the user's behalf |
| Change Plan | Upgrade or downgrade a user's subscription tier (owner approval required) |

Billing & Revenue
The Owner → Billing section shows your Stripe revenue data:
- MRR trend — month-over-month chart
- Subscription breakdown — revenue by tier
- Failed payments — users with past-due subscriptions who need follow-up
- Churn — cancellations in the last 30 days with plan type
- Net Revenue Retention — are existing customers expanding or contracting?
Platform Bots
Tuning Labs runs automated background bots to keep the platform fresh. You can trigger them manually or see their last run status from the Owner Dashboard.
| Bot | What It Does | Auto Schedule |
|---|---|---|
| Hardware Bot | Searches for new products across 193 brands, enriches existing product records with specs and images | Weekly |
| Brand Bot | Discovers new car audio brands and adds them to the brand discovery queue for review | Monthly |
| Social Bot | Generates and queues social media posts for platform announcements, features, and Academy content | Weekly |
System Settings
Under Owner → Settings:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Feature Flags | Enable/disable platform features for all users or specific tiers without a code deploy |
| Announcement Banner | Post a platform-wide notification that appears at the top of every page |
| AI Model Config | Select which AI model powers each feature (Haiku, Sonnet, or Opus) |
| Affiliate Settings | Set commission rates and payout schedule |
| Owner Token Rotation | Generate a new owner token (invalidates the old one immediately) |
Platform Analytics
Under Owner → Analytics, you'll find deeper usage data:
- Feature usage heatmap — which pages/features are used most
- Auto-Tune usage — tunes used per day, mode split (Full vs Semi)
- Academy completion — course completion rates, quiz pass rates
- Work order volume — WOs created per day
- Hardware search — top searched brands and products
- Error log — recent API errors and function failures with stack traces
Card Manager
The Card Manager allows owners to view and edit the AI system prompt cards that drive Auto-Tune and the AI Advisor. These are the structured documents that contain thresholds, algorithm parameters, and tuning methodology rules.
Platform Changelog
Under Owner → Changelog, you can see every code deployment and feature change — with dates, what changed, and whether the change affected the database, API, or frontend.
